茶学陈萍老师赴瑞士讲学法语传播茶文化与茶科学

          20141128日,茶学系陈萍副教授受邀前往瑞士西部瓦莱州应用科学与艺术大学(HES-SO, University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland Valais),参加法语学术会议,并以法语讲学,传播中华茶文化和茶科学。

       会议以“茶叶/葡萄酒/巧克力/咖啡饮食多酚论坛”(Les polyphénols dans le thé, vin, chocolat et café)为主题,邀请了欧美不同法语区的专家与学者,就不同饮食多酚的摄取、饮食多酚对人体健康的保护作用等,进行了专题演讲。同时,针对茶叶、葡萄酒、巧克力、咖啡等方面专业品评,不同领域的审评专家也展开了科普教学课程。

        结束了一整天的学术讨论和审评学习之后,陈老师与西方葡萄酒、咖啡专家们一同来到位于小城谢埃尔的一座具有一千多年历史的古城堡。这里,瑞士的茶叶爱好者们正在等侯聆听来自中国的茶叶的声音。瑞中友好协会、瑞士葡萄酒博物馆的许多瑞士朋友,也参加了古堡里的茶事活动。

        陈萍老师早前在法国留学多年,以法语完成博士学位学习和博士后工作。在担任浙大茶学系教师以来,主要进行茶叶审评教学和茶叶药理功能研究。这次受邀讲学,正是以“中国茶”(Thé du Chine)为题,以茶文化起源、茶叶保健和药理机制等内容为主体授课,讲学内容语言生动,图片丰富,交流热烈。随后,由陈萍老师领衔组织,由茶学系留学瑞士交换博士生邵淑宏、瑞士锡永AUX5T茶馆主人,以及上海初茶道iTEA共同进行的事茶活动,将整个城堡的茶事氛围点燃。随着陈老师的法语讲解,一场乌龙茶艺、绿茶红茶黑茶冲泡技艺的表演依次展开,事茶活动进入高潮。

        此行除了会议和讲学之外,也完成了与瑞士HES-SO大学合作项目的推进。刚刚在浙大茶学系完成毕业实践的瑞士学生Sophie在归国答辩中取得了“优异”的好成绩,为今后两校学生半年学习交流项目的进行奠定了良好的基础。相信瑞中两国两所大学在学术领域的国际交流与合作中,也必将逐步完善,取得更大的成功。

Dr. ChenPing from Tea Science Department gave french lectures in Switzerland
 
    On the 28th November 2014, Dr. Chen Ping, associate professor of Tea Science Department,was invited to University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland Valais (HES-SO) in Switzerland, to attend afrench academic conference and give french lectures onchinese tea culture and tea science.
    The conference was on a forum of "Diet polyphenols from tea /wine /chocolate /coffee" (Les polyphénols dans le thé, vin, chocolat et café).French speaking experts and scholars were invited from different countries, especially from Europeand America, who joined together to communicate on dietary intake of polyphenols, beneficial effects of dietary polyphenols on human health, etc.Meanwhile, different sensory evaluation class like tea, wine, and chocolate tasting were given to people, with professional evaluation knowledge.
     After a whole day of scientific discussion and academic activities, Dr. Chen went to Sierre with other western wine and coffee experts to an ancient castle, whose history could be dated back to more than thousand years ago. Here, Swiss tea lovers were waiting to listen to Dr. Chen’s lecture. Several old friends from Swiss-China Friendship Association and the Swiss Wine Museum also came from far away to participate in the castle for the chinese tea activities.
     Dr. Chen Ping earlier has been passed years in France for her doctor degree and a post-doctoral work. Since working in Zhejiang University, she mainly does research on tea sensory evaluation and pharmacological function of tea components. This time, she was invited to give a speech on "Chinese Tea" (Thé du Chine) with tea origin, tea culture, tea tasting, and pharmacological mechanisms of tea. The lecture was warmly welcomed with lively discussion.After that, tea taste time was organized in the castle with oolong tea ceremony and green tea, black tea, dark tea sensory evaluation.Such an tasting activity was led by three tea masters: Trinh from AUX5T of Switzerland; Shao Shuhong from Tea Science Department, who stays in HES-SO for her exchange experiments; Li Ping from iTEA of Shanghai. Along with French explanation guide by Dr. Chen, tea time in castle was brought into a lovely atmosphere.

    In addition to the conference and lecture, Dr. Chen has also made some advance for the cooperative projects between Swiss HES-SOand Zhejiang University. A further collaborative research will be done with a six months student exchange and funding supports.
