The topic includes:bioinvasion and biosafety-related concepts, its role and position, its status and future; adaptive evolution of alien invasive species and its impact,the spread mechanism of them and the stratergies and techniques to make them under control; enviromental safety and food safety of GMOs, including transgenic plants, transgenic micro-organisms and transgenic animals, their evaluation and control strategies, as well as GMO-related politics, Statutes and management at home and abroad.At the end of the course,the students will be able to understand basic theories and techniques on bioinvasion and biosafety and relevant regulations and management measures, then spread them to others analogically, they will be capable to evaluate the enviromental safety and food safety of invasive species and transgenic crops, analyze the emergence and development of invasive species importantly in agriculture, also their new way to spread and damage. In additon, they can figure out the new way of GMOs develops and the obstacles on it, then bring forward corresponding effective control technology.
