报告人简介：

Yusufjon Gafforov，博士，研究员，首席科学家，任职于乌兹别克斯坦科学院植物研究所，兼任新乌兹别克斯坦大学的客座教授。Gafforov博士的主要研究方向为：真菌学、植物病理学、植物学、植物保护和分子生物学等方面。他曾在瑞典农业大学、巴西圣保罗植物研究所、中国科学院微生物研究所、日本茨城大学进行博士后研究。Gafforov博士也作为访问学者先后前往德国、中国、奥地利等6所大学，并作为协调员负责多个国际合作研究项目。目前Gafforov博士担任Mycology编委，Frontiers in Fungal Biology、Plant Pathology & Quarantine等杂志副主编，同时还是Frontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology的共同编辑，在同行评审期刊上发表了大量文章，包括书籍、书籍章节，因其在研究、本科教育和外展方面的卓越贡献而受到国内外广泛好评。

Wood-inhabiting fungi of Uzbekistan, Central Asia: Biodiversity, Molecular Taxonomy, Databasing and Ethnomedicinal Uses

Dr. Yusufjon Gafforov, Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences.

Biography：

Dr. Yusufjon Gafforov is a senior researcher at the Mycology Laboratory of the Institute of Botany, Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences and invited professor of New Uzbekistan University in Tashkent. His research interests focus mainly on mycology, phytopathology, ethnobiology, plant protection and molecular biology. He conducted postdoctoral studies at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, the Institute of Botany of Sao Paulo, Brazil, at the Institute of Microbiology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as than at Ibaraki University in Japan. Dr. Gafforov has also served as a visiting scholar at six universities in Germany, China, and Austria and has taken on coordinating roles for multiple international collaborative research projects. He has led as coordinator and partner several international and local research projects. Dr. Gafforov is currently a member of the editorial board of Mycology and associate editor of Frontiers Fungal Biology, Plant Pathology & Quarantine and etc. and a co-editor of Frontiers in Cellular and Microbiology.
