研究内容:
ATP is the energy currency of the cell. It is produced mainly in the mitochondria and the chloroplasts and it is used to power countless processes, such as membrane transport, biosynthesis, and regulation. I will here present a method based on the use of a fluorescent sensor ATeam to monitor the concentration of ATP inside living cells and tissues in real time. The method is extremely sensitive and gives us a detailed picture of how cellular metabolism responds to developmental and environmental clues.
