报告人简介:
Anne Simon教授是美国著名的RNA病毒学家，美国马里兰大学细胞生物学和分子遗传学系教授，病毒中心主任，2012美国病毒学会（American Society for Virology）主席提名、2011美国植物病毒学会理事长（Councilor）、2002理查德弗朗奇奖(Richard Francki Award)获得者。Anne Simon教授长期从事病毒学相关期刊的编辑工作，对论文的撰写、编辑以及发表具有丰富的经验，现任或曾任《Journal of Virology》编辑、《Frontiers in Virology》主编，《Applied and Environmental Microbiology》副编辑、《Virology》编辑、《Molecular Plant-Microbe Interaction》副编辑、《Viruses》编委、 NIH、NSF专家小组成员（Panel Member）；Anne Simon教授也是一名科普作家，曾担任美国著名电视连续剧《X档案》的科学顾问，撰写过科普畅销书《The Real Science Behind the X-Files: Microbes, Meteorites and Mutants》。
