报告人简介：
Hugo K. Dooner，美国罗格斯大学植物生物学教授。1987年起任Theoretical & Applied Genetics编委，2002年起任玉米遗传学命名委员会主席，1995~2003年任The Plant Cell编委，2007年当选美国科学院院士。
Dooner教授是美国著名遗传育种专家，长期从事植物遗传学、植物基因组学及基因功能等领域的研究，特别在植物基因功能分析和研究方面有丰富经验，在美国植物遗传学领域有着重要影响。在Nature、Science、Plant Cell、PNAS、Genome Research等国际著名学术期刊上发表论文几十篇。
