报告人简介：
Dr. Huazhang Huang, Chemical toxicologist, graduated from the Entomology department at Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge, in 2002. He worked 5 years as a researcher in world-known pesticide laboratories (Dr. Bruce D. Hammock lab) at the University of California in Davis. He has had almost 20 years experience in the pesticide field. His expertise almost covers all aspects such as discovery, synthesis, toxicological tests, metabolisms, resistance mechanism and formulation. He has published more than 20 scientific articles and filed 4 international and 4 US patents. He has obtained multiple awards such as Dissertation Fellowship and President’s Scholarship. Currently, he is working as a Senior Scientist at Marrone Bio Innovations, California US, working in the discovery of the novel natural products for pesticide development and the development of enzyme assays for screening natural product pesticides. His presentation will cover current global problems, current trends of biopesticide developments, successful biopesticide example, what MBI is doing and how to register the biopesticide better in US.
