报告人简介：

William J Lucas 早年在澳大利亚Adelaide大学获得博士学位，现在是Plant Cell的Co-editor，美国加州大学戴维斯分校的Distinguished professor，法国国家科学院外籍院士。主要从事植物大分子运输，尤其是胞间连丝方面的研究，在《Cell》、《Nature》、《Science》、《Plant Cell》、《PNAS》等著名刊物发表论文百余篇，是植物细胞生物学领域著名的专家。现任《Plant Cell 》副主编，曾是《Plant Physiology》、《Annual Review of Plant Physiology and Plant Molecular Biology》、《Protoplasm》、《Planta》等刊物的编委。
