On August 20, 2022, the 7th International Graduate Student Workshop on Crop Science hosted by the Institute of Crop Science, College of Agriculture and Biotechnology, Zhejiang University. Around 200 students and researchers from 5 nations take part in this workshop. The conference was held in three modules: invited report, academic report and wall newspaper display. In the invited report, Prof Jiming Jiang, Michigan State University, gave a talk on “Plant   enhancers:   prediction,  validation,   and   potential   applications in crop improvement”; Dr Hong An from University of Missouri, gave a talk about “Understanding  the  evolutionary  genetics  of  Brassica  crops  diversification”. On the academic report, the speakers from Zhejiang University, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Zhejiang A&F University gave 13 wonderful talks.
