On August 27-28, 2020, the 5th International Graduate Student Workshop on Plant Physiology hosted by the Institute of Crop Science, College of Agriculture and Biotechnology, Zhejiang University. Around 200 students  and researchers from 8 nations take part in this workshop. The conference is held in three modules: invited report, academic report and wall newspaper display. In the invited report, Dr. Chuanfu An, associate editor of Nature Communications, gave An introduction to all the participants on editorial policies, scientific paper writing and paper submission, etc. On the academic report, the speakers from Zhejiang university, Tsinghua university, Nanjing university, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese academy of agricultural sciences, and Cornell university, the university of Tasmania, university of western Sydney, Okayama university gave 24 wonderful talks.
