From 27 to 27 of September 2018, Associate Professor Li Shaonan, Institute of Pesticide and Environmental Toxicology, College of Agriculture and Biotechnology, attended "2018 8th International Conference on Biotechnology and Environmental Management (ICBEM 2018) " that was held in Berlin, Germany. He gave an oral report namely "Impacts of chlorpyrifos on populations of freshwater zooplanktons and their assemblages" at the conference. In between meetings he visited Institute for Ecological Chemistry, Plant Analysis and Stored Product Protection, Federal Research Centre for Cultivated Plants, making an interview with Dr. Matthias Stähler Dr. Angelika Süß on the topic of side-effects of pesticides on non-target organisms and ecological risk assessment.
