On May 18, His Exellency Mr. Heriberto Quispe Charca (pictured on the left), Bolivian Ambassador to China, together with his wife and his daughter, paid a visit to his alma mater—Zhejiang University. ZHAO Jianming, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the College of Agriculture and Biotechnology, extended a warm welcome to them.

  Heriberto studied Chinese in 1993 and did his major in agronomy in 1994 at ZJU. Since his graduation in 1998, he has undertaken many jobs related to China. As of 2016, he has been serving as the Bolivian ambassador to China.

  During the meeting, Heriberto and ZHAO exchanged ideas in regard to strengthening cooperation between China and Bolivia in agriculture, particularly in professional training sessions in the tea field, and reached agreement for cooperation.
