In August 2017, undergraduate student Li Xiaocun from department of Tea science participated in the school exchange program for outstanding student leaders and visit several famous universities in Singapore, including National University of Singapore, NANYANG Technological University Singapore, Singapore Management University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

To enhance comprehensive ability of student leaders and broaden international vision, 19 student leaders from different majors and grades in the whole school joined in this one-week summer exchange. During the exchange, the students experienced different campus culture. With students from different growth environment and educational background, they communicate with each other for the topics of student work. They discussed about development of student union and students’ associations, the difference of operation and vote system. In the spare time, they traveled many attractions, like Universal Studios, National museum, Marina Bay in Singapore, participated in the boating, climbing and other projects.

Through this exchange visit, they experienced different culture and learned about working methods of world-famous schools, broadened their horizon.Their spoken English and communication ability have also been improved. Above all, this program promotes the communication and builds a solid relationship between Zhejiang University and the other universities in Singapore
