During Sept.11th to 14th, 2017, Associate Prof. Chen Yun from the Institute of Biotechnology participated in the 1st MYCOKEY International Conference Global Mycotoxin Reduction in the Food and Feed Chain held in Ghent, Belgium.
The conference is based on the annual meeting of MYCOKEY project, which is an International Science & Technology Cooperation Program between China and Europe under the Horizon 2020 Projects. MYCOKEY aims to deliver in 2019 the first integrated ICT tool to address mycotoxin contamination along the food and feed chain. Dr. Chen is in charge of the work package 5, prevention in the field in China side. He introdced the new achievements on this task by China parters during last two years to the colleagues in Europe.Meanwhile, he also gave an oral presentation entitled “Contribution of mitochondria and peroxisomes on the mycotoxin biosynthesis and fungal virulence via distinct regulatory pathways in Fusarium graminearum.
