As the biggest academic conference for horticultural science in America hosted by ASHS, it has attracted approximately over 900 professionals worldwide and the conference was categorized into sessions, activities and workshops etc.

Li Danqing presented on “Comparative Analysis of Responses to Low-temperature Combined with Dehydration Stress in Evergreen and Deciduous irises (Iris sp.)”. Due to lack of publications and research in this field, Li’s presentation has caught many scholars’ attention to further discuss the details relating to this topic.

What’s more, Li took part in a seminar among Chinese professors working and students studying in the US to further understand differences of horticulture science development, research, teaching and student training between China and the US. Besides, she also had a chance to discuss with professionals in this field directly.
