Prof. Chen Xuexin and Bao Yanyuan were invited by The University of Tokyo to visit Graduated School of Frontier Sciences at Kashiwa campus and Department of Agricultural and Environmental Biology at Hongo campus in Feb. 5th-8th, 2017. Prof. Chen introduced Institute of Insect Sciences and College of Agriculture and Biotechnology of Zhejiang University and discussed the joint symposium between Zhejiang University and the University of Tokyo that will be held in this coming November. Prof. Chen and Bao visited Prof. Takeshi Tange, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture; Prof. Keishi Senoo, Director of Biotechnology Research Center and discussed the cooperative research projects in the future. During this period, they visited the laboratories of Prof. Kataoka Hiroshi, Prof. Aoki Fugaku, Prof. Fujiwara Haruhiko, Prof. Ugaki Masashi, Prof Shoji Oda, Prof. Katsuma Susumu, Prof. Okada Kazunori and Prof. Hiromichi Nagasawa.
