September 22, 2016, The First A3 Roundtable Meeting on Chemical Probe Research Hub of ACPRH (the Asian Chemical Probe Research Hub) was held in Fukuoka, Japan. The meeting was sponsored by Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), and the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF), organized by Kyushu University in Japan, and participated by 80 scientists from China, Japan, and South Korea, as well as young scholars. Prof. Hua Yuejin of the Institute of Nuclear-Agricultural Science was invited to attend the symposium and gave a talk entitled "Progress in Molecular Mechanisms of Radioresistance in Deinococcus radiodurans".

The purpose of this conference is to promote the international exchange and collaboration, covering the separation and purification of natural products and methods, chemical synthesis and biosynthesis of natural products, nucleic acid chemistry and nucleic acid chemical biology research, organic synthesis methodology and other related fields. It provides an excellent platform for the academic exchanges in the field of the chemical biology, especially chemical probe research as well as the culture exchanges among China, Japan and Korea. During the meeting, Professor Hua and the scientists discussed the hot issues and advanced technologies of chemical biology and deepened the communication and interaction between peers.
