On invitation of 32th Symposium of the European Society of Nematologists, Prof. Zheng Jingwu from Institute of Biotechnology attended “32th Symposium of the European Society of Nematologists” held at Braga, Portugal from Aug. 27th to Sep. 2nd, 2016. There were 150 presentations and 200 posters, which related to biology and taxonomy of nenatode, epidemiology of nematode disease, and molecular interaction between nematodes and host plants, etc. About 400 nematologists from 45 countries including Argentina, Belgiun, Brasil, Canada, Chile, China,Colombia, Costa RIca, Ecuador, Spain, France, Italy, Israel, Kenya, Mexico, Nicaragua, Norway, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Russia, UK, USA, Swiyzerland , etc. attending the meeting. Thirteen nematologists from China, incuding Zhejiang University, CAAS, China Agricultural University, South China Agricultural University, Nanjing Agricultural University, Guangxi University, Hunan Agricultural University, ‘Gansu Agricultural University, etc. take part in the meeting.The meeting made an opportunity to share experiences on nematology and other professionals from nematology related disciplines, provided a framework for improving or creating networks for projects and other collaborative activities.
