Prof. Fan Longjiang attended the 18th International Plant Protection Congress Meeting held in Berlin, Germany, in August 24 to 27, 2015 and gave an oral presentation titled “A Genome Approach for Understanding Herbicide Resistance and Developing New Herbicides”.
More than 1,000 representatives from all over the world, including four professors from Zhejiang University, attended the congress. Beside plenary keynote lectures during the conference, there are several hundreds of talks on different topics. The congress was held in Berlin Freedom University and its conference dinner in the famous Berlin Botanic Garden. During the congress, Prof. Fan had detailed talks with scientists from Germany, Israel and Japan, and obtained the latest picture of the researches on biology and pesticide resistance of paddy weeds.
