The college of Agriculture and Biotechnology of Zhejiang University selected 3 excellent undergraduate students to participate in international summer program in University of Toronto for 28 days from 26th July to 22th August 2015.
This program focuses on training and improving the ability of communication, expression as well as solving problems based on creative and innovative ideas which are important for undergraduate students to be a good leader. The curricula, including general /academic /business English, academic success, personal health and international leadership development, acquaint students with the significance of international exchange and prepare for farther study.
In addition, students also went to Niagara Falls and Ottawa, the capital of Canada, visiting the City Hall and the Provincial government which taught a lot of politics and culture of Canada. During the period, it happened to be the Pan-American Games so that students can enjoy the popular baseball game. Therefore, in four weeks, the English level, the communication ability and the leadership of students were improved a lot. After all the courses, ending by the successful presentation, our students earned certificates of honor.
