Prof. Gan Yinbo visited University of York from 26 July of 2014 to 25 August of 2014 for their international research cooperation projects. During this visiting, Prof. Gan Yinbo visited Noval Agricultural Research Product Research Center (CNAP) of York University and communicated with 5 Scientists from this Center for the possibilities for the scientific collaboration in the future and reached a preliminary agreement. He also visited Prof. Ian Graham’and Prof. SimMcqueen-Maon’s laboratory at the Department of Biology, University of York. In addition, Prof. Gan gave a presentation for his work at the Zhejiang University and participated three Scientific Seminars. Furthermore, he did some sugar content analyses on 20 rice straw samples and got some good results from these analyses.
