Brazil and China are both developing countries and are confronted with same challenges. There is no denying that China has the much faster pace in the speed of economic development. But Brazil has its advantages we can’t compare with – the high quality of population, the abundant natural resource, and superior geographical environment. Even though, Brazilians are trying their best to develop the biological energy. The production of ethanol is the biggest of the world, and most of ethanol are made of bagasse—a kind of waste. Brazilians think highly of environmental protection, and the concept was rooted in most people’s mind. At least, the delegation never saw severe haze in Brazil. Compared with Brazil, in environmental protection, China still has a long way to go.
