Prof. Zhang Guoping was invited as the editor of the “Journal of Agronomy and Crop Science” by Dr Vicky Johnson, deputy director of the editorial board. .Journal of Agronomy and Crop Science is a comprehensive publication about Agronomy published by Wiley – VCH (a German publisher owned by John Wiley & Sons). The journal (IF=2.15) has nearly 100 years history. It ranked no. 17 in 78 kinds of Agronomy publications in the ISI classification 2012. The editorial board of the journal has 19 members, 17 of them are from Europe and two are from China and Japan.
