University of York is located in England. It is ranked at the top 15 university in the UK and is one of the world's top 100 universities. Biological Science at York University ranked at the top 5 among all the UK Biology departments. Prof. Gan was invited by Prof. Simon Mcqueen-Mason to visit Biology department of University of York from December 18th, 2016 to January 3rd, 2017 as the project partners. Prof. Gan visited Prof. Ian Graham’lab and discussed the future collaboration on plant hormone regulated seed germination project. He also visited Prof. Simon Mcqueen-Mason’s lab and discussed previous project on rice biofuel project and participated the department staff seminar twice.
