Associate Prof. Bao Yanyuan was invited by the organizing committee to attend The 22nd International Congress of Zoology and the 87th meeting of Zoological Society of Japan held in Okinawa during November 14-19, 2016. More than 1,100 participants including 200 scientists from all over the world attended the congress. This joint meeting included 40 symposia and 728 poster presentations. Bao gave an oral presentation on N. lugens saliva in adaptation of insect vector-plant virus-plant host in ‘Insect adaptations: Current Trends’ symposium. In this symposium, the other six entomologists gave wonderful presentations on insect adaptation. The participants enjoy multi-facetted research on vast variety of animals. The enthusiastic atmosphere in Conference Hall is truly unforgettable.
