Undergraduate student Zhou Tengteng visits University of California, Los Angeles for Global Study Program

   During Aug 1st to Sept 9thUndergraduate student Zhou Tengteng visited University of California, Los Angeles for Global Study Program about six weeks. In this program, students can choose courses freely.

As a student of College of Agriculture & Biotechnology, Zhou Tengteng chose Biostatistics and Contemporary Health Issue to study. In the course of Biostatistics, the professor systematically delivered series of lectures about biostatistics and also taught them about how to use STATA to implement basic data analysis. Contemporary Ethical Issues is a discussion course which concentrates on a lot of materials such as documentary literature, scripts, papers and so on. In the course, students were required to focus on a health issue and try to find reasonable solutions or preventions to deal with this issue.

In addition to having lectures, students also visited Santa Monica, San Francisco, Facebook and Stanford University.

The weather of California was so special that the sunshine was so hot but when under a tree, it was quite cool due to the ocean current. And the construction of UCLA is diversified, such as Middle Ages Castle, Modern church and so forth.
