During July 13nd to July 17th, the allied genetics conference (TAGC) 2016 was held in Orlando, USA. Ph.D. candidate Zhang Minjing from institute of insect sciences was invited by Genetic Society of America to participate the meeting. This meeting unites six model organisms into a joint conference for the first time, which aims to enhance cooperation and international academic exchanges. Zhang Minjing gave poster presentation on Drosophila lipid metabolism. During the meeting, she learned a lot from various academic reports, which will lay a solid foundation of the future scientific research.
