Biography：
Sun Chuanxin: PI and Group Leader, PhD in Biochemistry, Associate Professor in Molecular Cell Biology, Department of Plant Biology, Uppsala BioCenter, Linnean Center for Plant Biology, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). Research interest mainly in: 1) Plant sugar signaling and carbon allocation; 2) Channeling carbon flux to different destinations in plants for food, non-food and environmental applications; 3) Methodology in plant biology, e.g. antisense ODN inhibition technology, agro-infiltration in monocots, decoy oligo trapping of transcription factors, and rice and barley transformation. He published many papers in Nature, Plant journal, Plant cell, Plant Physiology, New Phytologist and other international famous magazine.
