Dr. Jun (Jay) Zhu graduated from Department of Microbiology of Cornell University. He is now an Associate Professor (with Tenure) of Microbiology, University of Pennsylvania. He was awarded Outstanding Young Scientist by NSFC, China (2004). Dr. Jun (Jay) Zhu has made important contributions to our understanding of Quorum sensing in bacteria, and has published papers at Dev Cell (1), Proc Natl Acad Sci USA (8), Nucleic Acids Res (1), mBio (1), Mol Microbio (3), Infec Immunity (5), J Bacteriol (5), Appl Environ Microbiol (3), etc.
