Introduction: Associate Professor Zhou Meixue is now working in Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture. His research interests include i) cereal quality improvement; 2) physiological mechanisms for stress tolerance; and 3) identifying molecular markers associated with the resistance of various stresses and diseases in barley. Over the last 14 years he has published over 90 peer reviewed paper in high impact factor journals like PNASPlant PhysiologyPlant Cell and EnvironmentBMC GenomicsPLoS One etc, made 60 presentations at various national and international conferences, and attracted over $9M in competitive research funding. His work has been cited for over 2033 times and current h-index is 24.
