Community Service 

     Zhejiang University Tea Research Institute has always been committed to community service. Following the lead of precursors, staff from the institute has often been to rural area in the service of local agriculture, countryside and farmers, and has obtained good reputations. In addition, different kinds of tea techniques training classes are held in order to guide farmers in production of tea and establishment of tea garden and tea demonstration base. In recent years, the institute has played an important role in construction of new socialist countryside, and the chief tea expert and technology commissioners have devoted to implementation of agricultural projects, community service and construction of Western China. Many honors, such as excellent technology commissioners of Zhejiang province, China as well as United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), have been obtained.
