Ph.D candidate Ruiyan Tao from Fruit Science Institute attended the 10th International Workshop on Anthocyanins held in Trento, Italy during 9th to 11th September. He presented a poster entitled “Several B-box proteins regulate light-induced anthocyanin in red pear fruits”.

In totalmore than 100 scientists and students from Europe, America, Asia and etc., attended the meeting. During the meeting, Professor Richard V Esley from Plant and Food Research Central, New Zealand, Professor Eugenio Butelli from Norwich Research Park in UK and etc., discussed with Ruiyan Tao in the field of “Gene and Genetic control of Anthocyanin biosynthesis”. The discussion enhanced future international academic cooperation..
