From February 7th to February 20th, 2019, the 16th grade Horticultural major Guo Yuxin and Li Yubo and other undergraduate students of Zhejiang University went to Russia for the winter cultural exchange project of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. This trip coincided with the Chinese New Year, and the students traveled to Russia to experience the local language, history and culture.

During the exchange, the university arranged rich Russian, Russian history, political and cultural courses and also visits to campus and laboratories, which introduced students of the basic situation in Russia.

For the two students of the Department of Horticulture, the Russian winter cultural exchange is not only an opportunity of in-depth understanding of Russian culture, broadening the international perspective, and fostering cross-cultural literacy, but in the process of the exchange between the two countries, they have clearly defined themselves. At this stage, they, as college students, should take more responsibilities, cherish the superior learning resources and environment, and strive to enhance their competitive advantage and become a knowledge-based student with an international vision and leadership.
