Prof. Chen Liping from institute of vegetable science visited the Agricultural Research Service of United States Department of Agriculture for four weeks from June 19, 2017 to July 18, 2017. During this period, Prof. Chen visited Prof. Li’s laboratory and exchanged opinions about the research of epigenetics on important secondary metabolites of Brassica vegetables and the plan for further cooperation in this field. Meanwhile, Dr. Cao Liwen, the joint-program student, reported the progress of her subject and the future research plan. Prof. Chen also attended report meetings on research progress of the College of Agriculture and Life Science of Cornell University twice and the report meeting of Prof. Jim Giovannoni in Boyce Thompson Institute.
