Invited by University of Tsukuba and Nagoya University, Prof. Zhang Mingfang and Dr. Hu Zhongyuan from Institute of Vegetable Science took a visit to Japan during 22th to 28th April 2017.
Prof. Hiroshi Ezura and his group members from Gene Research Center, University of Tsukuba made a detailed communication with Drs ZHANG and HU about gene function researches on melon, tomato and other vegetable crops. Meanwhile, Prof. Zhang Mingfang gave a presentation, titled “Genome and Genomic Research of Allopolyploid Brassica juncea Crops in China” to Ezura group. In addition, Prof. Mikio Nakazono from Laboratory of Plant Genetics and Breeding, Graduate School of Bioagricaltural Science, Nagoya University also made a communication with Prof. Zhang Mingfang about stress resistance research and LMD technique. Both Japanese groups revealed their intentions to make a collaboration with ZJU in future research.
