From Jan 28th, 2016 to Jan 25th, 2017, A/Prof. Yin Xueren, a faculty member of Institute of Fruit Science visited Cornell University and Boyce Thompson Institute as a visiting scholar for about one year. During this period, Dr. Yin has been working on characterizing several tomato transcription factors and found two gene candidates for fruit ripening regulation. Dr. Yin also introduced his researches and Fruit Science Institute to the communities, including the local scientists and the other international visitors.
