On the invitation of Immink Richard, researcher & professor, department of Plant Science, Wageningen UR, Prof. Xia Yiping and his two PhD students, Li Danqing and Ren Ziming paid an academic visit to the Netherlands during Dec. 16 th to 28th, 2015.
During the visit, they visited molecular and physiological labs, student learning rooms, greenhouses and resource nursery, etc. Apart from these, they communicated and discussed with each other about the development of flower bulbs in detail, learning about the world's leading research direction and level of bulbous flowers. They had reached a preliminary cooperation intention.
Wageningen University has been focusing on higher education and scientific research of life sciences and natural resources. It enjoys a high reputation and popularity around the world, especially in the field of bulb flowers.
