Dr. Wilhelm Schäfer, 德国汉堡大学教授，从事病原真菌Fusarium与其寄主的互作关系，病原菌侵染的分子机制研究。曾在美国康奈尔大学植物病理系做访问学者，在Nature、PNAS、Autophagy、PLoS Pathogen、Plant Jounal、Plant Physiology、Molecular Microbiology、Molecular Plant-Microbe Interactions等期刊发表研究论文50余篇。
